The first meeting of the 2019-2020 Gardening Girls Auxiliary group met on Oct. 1. The meeting was at the lovely Garden Cafe in York. http://www.thegardencafeyorksc.com/
The club identified the types of gardening activities and outings that would be part of this year’s plan. Each exciting endeavor has an organizer from the group who will work on the details, securing reservations (if needed) and materials. Many of the groups outings include a fun chance to try an eating establishment. For those new to the Charlotte area, the group generally tries to car pool from the PCC so there are no concerns if you are not sure of the area!

The next trip for the group is Oct. 22. It will be a visit to BlackHawk Garden Center at the Park Road Shopping Center, and Roundtree Nursery. We will refuel at Amelie’s Bakery and Cafe. https://ameliesfrenchbakery.com/our-menu/
