Diamonds and Denim in February 2022
Diamonds and demin were the theme for our February general meeting that was complete with dinner, a raffle drawing, opportunities to get to know each other, and updates of several upcoming events.
In case you were not able to attend, raffle tickets were for a $100 gift card to Talbots with proceeds going to support the local Dress for Success in Charlotte. Thank you to Kathy Gray for selling these raffle tickets. Congratulations to Mimi Macho who won the raffle and volunteered to be a model in the fashion show at the next meeting on March 2nd which is off-site at Talbots. Do not forget to RSVP if you plan on attending that fun meeting! What fun this event will be!
Thank you to the social committee led by Maryann Perna Jarvis who always keeps the group cohesiveness growing by providing opportunities for everyone to get to know each other better. This month her team achieved this goal by circulating the “diamonds and denim” group around the room as everyone shared stories behind personal photos they brought about fun, important, or notable moments of their lives.
Looking forward to seeing everyone next month, March 2nd at 11:30 for a fashion show at Talbots with lunch (on your own) at Bricktop.
